Regarding the controversy over school lunch funding in North Dakota: it makes me physically sick when I hear about children whose family hasn’t paid the lunch bill, and thus are given a cheap meal different than the rest. No child should be humiliated that way! I have long held the belief that North Dakota, which is the most diverse agricultural state in the nation, could be a model for school lunch programs.
