    Tuesday, October 29 The North Dakota Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation will begin using a waitlist to decide who to admit to prison first after running out of beds for male inmates. North Dakota's prison system has been over its capacity for men since July 1, 2023. As of Monday, it had roughly 150 more male prisoners than it had space for.     The Standing Rock Sioux Tribe on Monday filed a new lawsuit against the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers arguing that the Dakota Access Pipeline is operating illegally and must be shut down.
