On early Sunday morning, February 12, the farm house of Rudy and Alexis Theis, located four miles north and four miles east of Carrington in Estabrook Township, went up in flames. The Carrington community hosted a blood drive with Vitalant on February 6 at Trinity Lutheran Church which helped collect a total of 49 units of blood products for patients in need. A total of 53 individuals volunteered to donate blood and 49 individuals were able to successfully donate at the Vitalant blood drive on February 6. Carrington High School organizations will hold a food drive for Carrington Daily Bread on Saturday, March 11 from 9:00 a.m. -1:00 p.m., at the Carrington Elementary School.
