    Kids got their baskets and bags ready for the annual Easter Egg Hunt, held this year at the Armory in Carrington Saturday afternoon, April 8.     A split squad of Harvey-Wells County Hornets made the long trek to Bowman to compete in the Bowman County Invite on Tuesday, April 11. Many of the teams competing came from the eastern part of North Dakota, where the snow was still two-plus feet deep on their practice and competition facilities.     The North Dakota Game and Fish Department is sponsoring professional development for educator workshops this summer in Fargo, Devils Lake and Dickinson. Using Visual Arts to Teach Life Science will be held June 6-7 at NDSU in Fargo.     Despite high production costs to start 2022, net farm incomes remained high helping facilitate a sharp rise in land prices for 2023, says Bryon Parman, North Dakota State University (NDSU) Extension agricultural finance specialist.
