    Plans continue for the proposed Carrington Rainbow Gardens and Visitors Center with a projected start date of 2024. Currently, the plans for the Japanese garden are ongoing and evolving. Conversations with a Japanese horticulturist, Sadafumi Uchiyama, are happening at this point. Mr. Uchiyama has been instrumental in the development of a Japanese garden in Fargo, N.D., as well as other states.   • Man arrested following incident on Main Street

    Just before 7 a.m. on Friday, April 21, the Carrington Police Department received three calls within minutes. Residents reported a male walking down the middle of Main Street with a gun, yelling at passersby. Chief Christopher Bittmann arrived on scene at 7 a.m., and observed a male walking east down the street carrying a gun case, just two blocks from the school.     The CARING-ton Preschool Art Show was held at the Carrington City Library on Thursday, April 20. This year's art program focus was Process Art.     One of the most horrific mass murders in North Dakota's history occurred in April of 1920, at the farmstead of Jacob Wolf near Turtle Lake.
