    The HWC track and field teams traveled to Rugby and Bismarck this past week and had lots of hardware to bring home. The boys team continues to dominate picking up meet wins in both meets while the girls continue to improve and look to peak at the big meets to finish the year.     The Carrington Pitcrew youth wrestling program put another season in the books with a fine performance at the State Freestyle and Greco-Roman Wrestling Tournaments, held April 30 at the University of Jamestown's Harold Newman Arena.     Carrington, N.D. – Carrington High School hosted a blood drive with Vitalant on April 19 at Carrington High School which helped collect a total of 26 units of blood products for patients in need. A total of 24 individuals volunteered to donate blood and 19 individuals were able to successfully donate at the Vitalant blood drive on April 19. A total of three donors also came forward to donate Power Red Cells (2RBC) which collects two units of red blood cells while returning platelets, plasma and a saline solution back to the donor.     North Dakota’s 2022 deer season is set, with 64,200 licenses available to hunters, down 8,000 from last year. In total, any-antlered licenses decreased by 150 from last year, any-antlerless by 350, antlered whitetail by 4,150, and antlerless whitetail by 3,700. Antlered mule deer licensed remained the same, and antlerless mule deer licenses increased by 350.
