    The Medina/Pingree-Buchanan Thunder got two state qualifiers at the South Central Regional Track Meet in Hazen Friday, May 19. Both of those slots came from the boys team.     The HWC boys finished third and the girls fifth in the North Central Regional Track and Field meet, held Friday, May 19, at Rugby. Both the boys and girls team added events to their state meet schedule by either meeting the state standard or by finishing in the top three in their respective events.     Carrington's boys golf team had two chances to gain state tournament qualifiers, but were unable to do so in either their home meet on Friday, May 19, or at Mapleton three days earlier on May 16.     At the North East Region Track Meet in Larimore, the Griggs/Midkota Titans got two new state-qualifying slots ahead of this past weekend's state meet in Bismarck.
