    Carrington Post 25 garnered a pair of victories at the Mid-Summer Classic, taking a 9-3 win over the Royals of Valley City Post 60, and needing extra innings to take down the Grafton Post 41 Spoilers, 8-7. Both of Post 25's games were played at Charlie Brown Memorial Field in Valley City over a two-day span, Friday and Saturday, June 23-24. The Classic also held several games in Jamestown as well.     The number of roosters heard crowing during the North Dakota Game and Fish Department’s 2023 spring pheasant crowing count survey was up 30% statewide from last year. “We documented increased production for most of the state during 2022 brood routes compared to the last couple years, and we also confirmed high reproduction rates while aging hunter-submitted pheasant wings,” said R.J.
