The meat of Carrington Post 25's American Legion Baseball summer schedule from July 5 to July 11 delivered good, not-so-good, and mixed results over its duration. The Carrington Redbirds Babe Ruth team, to borrow casino parlance, hopes to run the table at the Red River Valley League Tournament in Hillsboro July 12-16. Carrington is the number four seed in the tournament, and played fifth seed Mayville in the first round on Wednesday in double-elimination action.
