    Mustache Maude . . . with a name like that you know there have to be a few stories. And there are. She didn’t start out with that name, of course. Her real name was deceptively soft and feminine: Clara Belle Rose. She was born in July 1873 in Tracy, Minnesota. While Clara Belle loved her father, she locked horns with her mother and ran away when she was 15.     The regular season is in the books for both Carrington American Legion Post 25 and Carrington Babe Ruth Redbirds. The Legion team finished their slate of District 4 games with wins of 9-2 over the Jamestown Hawks on July 6, and 12-2 against the Nelson County Post 162 Owls on July 12. In between, the 25's faced some stiff competition at the Phil Brown Classic in Jamestown on Saturday and Sunday, July 9-10.     A nationally coordinated effort to educate the public about the dangers of boating under the influence yielded seven BUI of alcohol violations in North Dakota. Jackie Lundstrom, state Game and Fish Department’s enforcement division operations supervisor, said Operation Dry Water weekend July 2-4 was designed for a heightened enforcement effort directed at boating under the influence laws and recreational boater outreach.
