Brynhild Haugland, former member of the North Dakota House of Representatives, was born on July 28, 1905, to Norwegian immigrants on a farm near Minot, North Dakota.     An American flag was stolen from the New Home Cemetery for the second time in a year. Woodworth area resident Arvin Goter said Wednesday that a flag and pole had waved high in the cemetery, which is located 9 miles north and 4 miles west of Woodworth, for 40 years, until this past July. Goter said he had raised a new flag on the pole in the spring of 2021, and then both the pole and flag disappeared in July, three months later. White traveled to Des Moines, Iowa at the end of June to accept his award at the 2022 National High School Athletic Coaches Association (NHSACA) convention.
