  • Dakota Datebook: Lifesaving whiskey, Mother's advice

    Sep 4, 2023

Lifesaving whiskey North Dakota is home to many types of snakes. The largest is the bullsnake. It averages 83 inches long. The record length is 93 inches. They would rather escape than attack. If cornered, a bullsnake will open its mouth, hiss, vibrate its tail, and appear ready to strike. Fortunately, bullsnakes aren't venomous, but they're often killed because they appear dangerous. Bullsnakes are most common in the western part of the state. Also found in the west are racers, a fast snake...

The senior running back and long sprint ace for the Cardinals in the spring busted out for 190 yards on the ground, and 81 more on a kickoff return, and scored five touchdowns to help CHS zoom to a 48-14 win over the Rugby Panthers at Johnsen Field in Rugby. Just one calendar year ago, the Medina/Pingree-Buchanan Thunder took a 1-4 match record against all comers in their first action of the season, the Northern Cass Tournament in Hunter. One year later, and the Thunder have certainly turned some heads with their 2023 performance at the same event.
