    Violet Bohl's 1,000th career assist was the individual highlight for the Medina/Pingree-Buchanan Thunder in a three-set sweep over NR-S, 25-15, 25-13 and 25-23, Tuesday night, September 10, in the PBHS Gym.     The eighth edition of the Grahams Island Invitational cross country meet was held at the state park west of Devils Lake Saturday, September 7, and hosted by the DLHS Firebirds.
