Kathie attended Carrington High School being active in cheerleading, choir and other activities. She graduated from Dickinson State Nursing School as a LPN.     Grady Shipman, son of Wayne and Denise Shipman of Carrington, has signed a letter of intent to play baseball for the Valley City State University Vikings and Head Coach Alec DeMaria.
