The community of Carrington came together on Saturday, September 28 to support the local hospital's efforts to raise funds for patient care equipment. The Standing Rock Sioux Tribe on Monday filed a new lawsuit against the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers arguing that the Dakota Access Pipeline is operating illegally and must be shut down. Foster County 4-H members held their annual Awards Night at the Foster County Fairgrounds on Sunday, Sept. 29. During the event, the 4-H Council honored Marissa House as the "Outstanding 4-H Volunteer" for 2024.
