An American flag was stolen from the New Home Cemetery for the second time in a year. Woodworth area resident Arvin Goter said Wednesday that a flag and pole had waved high in the cemetery, which is located 9 miles north and 4 miles west of Woodworth, for 40 years, until this past July. Billy Holtan, back row, far right, has been at the forefront of firefighting efforts in the Alaskan wilderness this summer.
