    Foster County 4-H'ers held their annual Awards Night at the Grace City School on Sunday, Oct. 2. During the meeting, the 4-H Council recognized Jill Schroeder as the "Outstanding 4-H Volunteer" in 2022. Schroeder currently serves as one of the leaders of the County Clovers 4-H Club. She has superintended the poultry and rabbit show at the Foster County fair during the last three years, and for the last two years, she has led the 4-H dairy heifer lease program.     The Foster County junior team won the state 4-H range judging contest near Medina on September 22. The team was led by Cyrena Kuss, who finished first out of 32 contestants. Cainen Stangeland placed fourth in the event and Kadence Spickler was sixth.     Yet another local family is in need of community support. Reed Nelson, 5-month-old son of Jesse and Brittany Nelson of Carrington, died in a Fargo hospital after suffering a brain injury.
