The 2024 construction season will be the busiest yet along the route of the Red River Valley Water Supply Project (RRVWSP) pipeline. Three construction contracting companies will have crews living and working in and around the City of Carrington, as they install more than 20 miles of the 72-inch diameter pipeline. The Foster County 4-H Livestock Judging Teams wrapped up their season at the state contest in Watford City on Saturday, March 2. The senior team finished seventh among 15 teams in the event. For the first time in 17 years, the Carrington FFA Livestock Judging Team brought home the State Champion trophy in Livestock Judging.
