    Dickinson State University senior Jory Boote proved himself good enough with a lasso to punch his ticket to the College National Finals Rodeo (CNFR). Jory, the son of Alan and Nikki Boote of Binford, will be making the trip to Casper, Wyo., June 7-15, thanks to placing second in Tie-Down Roping in the Great Plains Region standings for the season. On Thursday, May 9, the Cards trounced south sub-Region 2 opponent Larimore, 25-4, to earn a home postseason tournament matchup with those same Polar Bears this past Thursday.     Carrington Gymnastics finished their season with the Region 4 Xcel Regional gymnastics competition April 19-21 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Brynlee Hoff, Addison Thompson and Paisley Lura were amongst the 4000 other gymnasts from 7 different states looking to top the podium one last time this season.
