Griggs/Midkota put together their most complete effort of the season to take an impressive four-point overtime win in Hatton against the H-N Thunder.
Senior Logan Topp’s 20 points helped pave the way to the Titans’ third win of the season, and G-M also enjoyed double-figure showings by Jaxon Gronneberg with 12 points, Carter Spitzer with 11 and Brady Haugen 10.
The Thunder of Region 2 fell to 4-8 with the loss. Levi Jorgensen was the top scorer with 17 points, followed by Kelby Azure’s 14 and 11 more from Kaleb Braun.

The Titan girls’ offense was unable to make any headway with the May-Port-CG Patriots from the get-go, and were saddled with a 36-point loss at GCCHS.
MPCG improved to 9-7 with the triumph, and sophomore forward Rylee Satrom was on fire with 18 points, 14 of those in the first half. Isabell Parker was one point shy of double digits with nine.
Co-leading scorers for the Titans were Emma Kollman and Amanda Reidman with six points apiece, and both players hit a pair of threes to earn that honor.

The Titans came back from their disappointment four nights prior, and had no problem taking down the winless Lady Bison.
Jenna Larson got back in the scoring column, as the 6’1” senior center went for 18 points. G-M’s Kaylee Johnson also had eight in the win to help the Titans improve to 6-9 overall and 2-3 in District 5.
Trinity Faber led BCN (0-13, 0-6 District 5) with four points.
Griggs/Midkota will be the number five seed in the upcoming tournament in Jamestown this Friday, and will face off against LaMoure/Litchville-Marion.
