The Official Newspaper for Foster County
The ambulance building infrastructure is in need of repairs, and the county has to flip the bill for it.
That was one item on the agenda at the Foster County Commission meeting last week.
During the meeting held on Tuesday, March 15, commissioner David Utke told the board that the ambulance building needs a new water heater and furnace.
Because the county owns the building and it is stated in the contract with the CHI St. Alexius Carrington Ambulance Service, the county must pay for the repairs.
Quotes were received from Larsen Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning for $3,900 for the furnace, and $1,300 for the water heater.
Schulz Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning: $4,721.76 for the furnace and $2,479.83 for the water heater.
A motion was passed to accept the bids from Larsen Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning for the repairs.
