Kaylee Johnson follows through on her shot put toss. Johnson won the event with a 32'9" effort.
The Griggs-Midkota Titans track team competed in a three-team "Mini Meet" with the host May-Port-CG Patriots and Hatton-Northwood on May 28.
Winners at the event for the Titans included, for the boys, Wayland Sabinash (200 and 400 dashes), Mark Sammons (800), Aaron Moser (300 hurdles), the 4x200-meter relay (Gavin Nelson, Eli Larson, Sammons, Sabinash), and the 4x400 (Nelson, Sammons, Larson, Sabinash). Additionally, Isaac Stadler led a 1-2-3-4-5 finish for G-M in the shot put.
Girls' winners were Jenna Larson (200, 400 and high jump) and Kaylee Johnson (shot put).
G-M traveled to Rugby last Thursday, and Carrington Saturday.
