Overland flooding causes roads to wash out
Flooding caused a portion of Foster County 1602 (11th Street Northeast) to wash out Tuesday. Another section of the same highway washed out Wednesday, which commissioners estimated to be 40 feet wide. Motorists are urged not to drive past Road Closed signs.
Overland flooding in the area has forced county commissioners in Eddy and Foster County to declare a flood emergency, as roads in the area have washed away.
