Hurlbut to attend Girls State

The North Dakota Flickertail Girls State will be held on the UND campus, June 12 - 17.

Carrington student, Natalie Hurlbut, daughter of Pastor Keith and Colleen Hurlbut, Carrington, will be sponsored by the American Legion Auxiliary of Carrington.

She will experience an empowering week of leadership and government training at the UND campus.

Since the inception of the Girls State program in 1937, over a million young people have had the opportunity to learn first-hand how their state and local governments work.
