Griggs/Midkota relay runner Wayland Sabinash (far right) keeps his pace with runners from Thompson, New Town and Oakes in the opening leg of the 4x800-meter relay. Sabinash would also run anchor on the 4x400 relay which placed eighth in the final event of the meet.
The Griggs/Midkota Titan girls track team delivered the triumph of quality over quantity over three days at the state meet from the MDU Resources Community Bowl May 26-28.
With just three state-qualified athletes, the Titans still managed to score 21 points and finish in 10th place in the Class B team standings.
