Pedersen new at Looks For You

Justine Pedersen is the newest stylist at Looks for You Salon in Carrington.

She is originally from Harvey, N.D. and graduated from Harvey Public School in 2021. In high school, she was active in FFA and did livestock judging and various competitions at state convention.

Pedersen grew up just north of Harvey on her family farm/ranch with three dogs, seven cats, one horse, and about 200 head of cattle. She is the youngest of five kids.

In September 2021, she started her journey of becoming a Cosmetologist and attended Josef's School of Hair Design in Grand Forks and graduated in September of 2022.

While waiting to start her new job at the salon, she has been working for a family friend doing plumbing and farm work in the Rugby area.

Pedersen chose cosmetology because as a kid she was very artistic and would rather be doing things with her hands instead of sitting behind a desk. Cosmetology was a way for me to bring her artistic capabilities into a successful career.

She enjoys doing hair color and men's cuts and hopes for that area to grow as her career progresses.
