Festival of Trees and Wreaths December 3

CARRINGTON, N.D. – A tree full of snowmen? A hunting and fishing themed tree? What about a “silver & gold” or patriotic decorated wreath?

Find your favorite tree or wreath on display at the “Festival of Trees & Wreaths” event taking place on Saturday, December 3 at Federated Church in Carrington.

Individuals, churches, organizations and businesses are welcome to decorate/donate a small (2 – 4 ft.) artificial tree or wreath. “There are many creative people in our community. From simple, elegant or traditional to fun, contemporary or unconventional, you are only limited by your imagination” says Pam Diede, co-chair of the event.

During the afternoon, attendees will have a chance view the trees, enjoy refreshments and purchase tickets for a lottery drawing for their favorite tree or wreath (drawing to be held at 3 p.m.; need not be present to win).

Federated Church is hosting the event this year and proceeds will benefit the Carrington Area Ministerial Association which helps those in need in our own and nearby communities.

If you, your business, or organization are willing to provide a decorated tree or wreath for the event, please contact Cassie Smith at (701) 653-5385 or Pam Diede at (701) 653-5633 by December 1.
