There are some special holiday events happening around the Central City this week and next week. That list includes the following:
Monday, Nov 28 - 36th Annual Tree Of Lights Lighting at CHI St. Alexius – Carrington Health. Purchase lights to support Carrington Health Center Auxiliary projects. There is no program.
Monday, Nov. 28 Bremer Bank Holiday Open House 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Thursday, Dec. 1 - Elementary Winter Concert 2 p.m. & 7 p.m.
Saturday, Dec. 3 - Kids Sewing Class at the Putnam House, 1-5 p.m.
Monday, Dec. 5 - Christmas Around the Town and Light Parade (parade time (5:30 p.m. on Main St.).
Monday, Dec 5 - Annual Kiwanis Chili & Spud Feed at the Carrington Youth Center. 4:30 - 6:00 p.m.
Monday, Dec 5 - The Market (Holiday Edition) at the City Library, 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.
Monday, Dec 5 - Bake Sale Fund-raiser for Youth Baseball/Softball at the City Library, 5 p.m.
Tuesday, Dec. 6 - Holiday with our Heroes.
Donations should be sent to the Carrington City Hall on 10th Avenue North on or before December 2.
Coordinated by police officer Elizabeth Kapp of Carrington Police Department, this year’s shopping spree will feature families referred by local agencies. They will be paired up with first responders.
