Jubilation and excitement rocked the East Gym Friday, February 3, as the Carrington Cardinals secured their first win at the East Region Girls' Dual Wrestling Tournament with a pin in the last match from Ashley Lindberg to defeat the Fargo Stingers, 42-40, in first round action.
The win prompted Head Coach Mark Pazdernik to lift assistant coach Kip Kovar off the ground in celebration. Wrestler Kennedy Wendel, right, is also pictured.
