Wendel commits to U of J volleyball

CHS senior Kennedy Wendel, center in black, has just signed a letter of intent to play for the University of Jamestown Jimmies' volleyball program. Wendel was a multi-year starter for the Cards in the front row, and she joins a U of J team just coming off the school's first NAIA national championship this past season. She also was a contributor to two first-year sports in Carrington, those being the girls' softball and wrestling teams.

Kennedy will become the third collegiate-level athlete of the Wendel children. Her sister, Madison Nelson, also played volleyball for the Jimmies, and her brother, Connor, was a member of the NDSU track program.
