G-M's Asia Becherl spins around the circle at the Kiwanis/Lions meet in Carrington, in preparation for her release of the discus. Becherl placed second in the event with a state-qualifying toss of 111 feet, 8 inches.
Cole Vincent goes airborne in the boys long jump. Vincent placed 18th overall at Kiwanis/Lions.
The Griggs/Midkota Titans got several strong performances from trips to the MPCG Invitational in Mayville on May 4, and the Kiwanis/Lions Track Meet in Carrington on May 6.
Qualifying distances came from the Titan throwing corps, courtesy of Asia Becherl (shot put, discus), and Kaylee Johnson (shot put) on the girls' side, while Levi Kautzman hit the state qualifying standard in the boys' shot put at the Kiwanis/Lions.
