Let me introduce you to Brad Hoff, a Certified Physician Assistant who works at our Carrington Medical Clinic and Urgent Care, as well as our Family Clinic in New Rockford.

Brad started his medical career as a Registered Radiologic Technologist, receiving his Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technology from the University of Mary in Bismarck. He worked at MeritCare Health System in Fargo until October of 2008.

In May of 2008, Brad attended the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, graduating in May of 2010 with a Masters of Physician Assistant Studies. After graduation, Brad accepted a full-time job with Catholic Health Initiatives in Carrington as a Certified Physician Assistant. Brad has cared for patients in ER the clinic and the hospital for several years.

A little over a year ago, CHI St. Alexius Health Carrington (CMC) switched to an ER/Hospitalist role for care of our ER and hospital patients. With this change, Brad no longer needed to cover ER patients and ER call. However, he is more than willing to help assist or cover shifts for the ER or ER call if needed.

Brad enjoys providing a broad range of health care services. He conducts physical exams, diagnoses and treats illnesses, orders and interprets tests and counsels patients on preventive health care.

Brad has also completed special training to be able to perform different types of joint injections to assist patients with pain relief incurred from injuries or arthritis. He is also certified in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.

When Brad is not working at CMC, he is serving our country as a member of the North Dakota Army National Guard. He has been a member of the National Guard since 2008. In 2012, he was deployed to Accra, Ghana, and in 2014 to Afghanistan. Brad takes his commitment to the Army National Guard very seriously, and we are very thankful for his service.

Brad holds professional memberships in the American Academy of Physician Assistants, North Dakota Academy of Physician Assistants, American Society of Radiologic Technologists and the National Guard Association of the United States. These memberships allow Brad to be kept informed of any current changes to his profession; propose new changes he would like to see; and assist with any legislative actions being taken by any of the organizations.

Brad enjoys hunting, flying, golfing and farming in his spare time. He also enjoys spending time with his wife and three children.

CHI St. Alexius Health is very fortunate to have Brad Hoff on our medical staff. He has been and continues to be a very dedicated employee. Call 701-652-2515 to schedule an appointment with Brad. He is ready to serve you and/or your family.
