Shipman took 37th at State

In last week’s edition of the Independent, “placeholder” text regarding Grady Shipman’s final placement in the State Class B Boys Golf Tournament was inadvertently published.

By design, the space was left blank during the production process until it was known what his final placing was.

Shipman ended up in a five-way tie for 37th with his score of 172 (81-91), while Jackson Schumacher of NR-S placed in 54th as was written.

The Independent regrets the omission.
