Jeanette Dosch
Jeanette Dosch, 69, of Hurdsfield, North Dakota, died Friday, July 14, 2023, at the St. Alexius Hospital of Bismarck, N.D.
Funeral services were held at the Hurdsfield Community Center on Friday, July 21 at 10:30 a.m.
Jeanette was born on June 25, 1954, in Edmore, N.D. She was the daughter of Hugh and Vivian (Geib) Lymburn. Jeanette grew up in Edmonds and attended school in Pingree, N.D., and graduated in 1972.
She then attended Valley City State College and graduated with a bachelor's degree in teaching.
Jeanette was once married to Jeff Matson they later divorced.
Jeanette taught school in Des Lacs, N.D., for one year. She then moved to Jamestown, N.D., where she went to work for Waldenbooks until its closing in 1990.
In 1992, she married Joe Dosch and they moved to Hurdsfield. While living in Hurdsfield, she worked at the Hurdsfield Café part-time and also managed the Tri-Corner Bar in Hurdsfield until its closing in 2009.
Jeanette enjoyed quilting, reading, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Jeanette is survived by her daughter, Christa (Kim) Hatch of Sykeston, N.D.; son, Michael Matson of Valley City, N.D.; two grandchildren, Alexander Matson and Morgan Hatch; sister, Nancy Boehmer of Carrington, N.D.; several nieces and nephews.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joe and brothers, Dennis, John, and Rick.
