Allen Stock speaks to the crowd about his memories of serving with the Carrington Kiwanis Club at a ceremony held at the Chieftain Conference Center Wednesday, August 16, honoring Stock's 35 years as a member of the local Kiwanians. Listening are his wife, Pattie, and son-in-law, Linus Allmaras. Stock was publisher of the Independent from 1976 to 2021, and has been active in promoting the community for many years.
