Eve of Autumn Fall Festival Sat., Sept. 16 in Sykeston

Sykeston will hold their Eve of Autumn Fall Festival Saturday, September 16 on Main Street.

The Sykeston Dam Bar & Grill will be serving The Jimmy Burger (raw onions, ketchup, French fries and Mt. Dew) from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. All proceeds will go to the fun run/walk fund.

Kids activities will start at 4 p.m. at the Fire Hall. Pumpkin decorating, a candy corn pile, youth temporary tattoos, Cornhole, hayrides and a variety of games will entertain the kids. The Cake Walk and hayrides will start at 6 p.m.; and music, the Limbo and additional games will be held from 7-8 p.m.

The third annual Neon Nights Fun Run/Walk, in memory of Jimmy Neumiller, will start at 5 p.m. All proceeds will go to families with medical needs.

A freewill offering meal of BBQ, hotdogs, chips, drink and bars will be served at the Sykeston Fire Hall from 5-6:30 p.m.
