Employee of the Month: August 2023

The Carrington Chamber & Economic Development Corporation recently awarded the August Employee of the Month honors to Gloria Garrett. Gloria works at Small Steps Childcare in the infant area.

The nomination for Employee of the month stated, "Gloria Garrett is sharing her heart every day with our city's tiniest residents. Her kindness and love for these kiddos shows through in everything she does and the care she puts into her every interaction with them is so heartwarming. It is wonderful to know your child is safe and well cared for while they are with her, but to also know they are loved is a true blessing. My son has been the recipient of her extra love and outstanding care for the last year. He is getting ready to move on from the baby room and I felt it was important to acknowledge how special and valuable Gloria is to the families that entrust the littlest of kids to Small Steps."

Gloria received $20 in Carrington Cash along with the framed certificate for the terrific care that she gives to the smallest Small Steps Childcare children.
