Louis Allmaras

Louis James Allmaras, 60, of New Rockford, N.D., passed away at the family farm on September 26, 2023.

Louis was born to Jerome and Phyllis Allmaras on September 29, 1962. He attended the New Rockford High School and graduated in 1980. After graduating he primarily worked in construction doing renovations on homes.

Louie lived in Fargo, N.D., Bismarck, N.D., Siren, Wis., Panama City Beach, Fla., and several other cities around the country, enjoying each one in their own way. He decided to return home and live at the family farm until the time of his passing.

Louie enjoyed watching football. His favorite team was the Green Bay Packers. He also loved going hunting in the fall. Some of his favorite moments were when he and his son Dakota went on some of their famous road trips together. Louie especially enjoyed spending time with his family, whom he loved very much.

He is survived by his five children, Jasmine (Jerry) Job, Jordan (Breanne) Allmaras, Joseph Allmaras, Dakota Allmaras and Levi Allmaras; his three grandchildren, Makenzie, Landon and Clayton; his siblings, Linda Allmaras, Janice Allmaras, Rebecca (Dom) Bianco, Paul Allmaras, Susan Allmaras, Laura Allmaras, Nancy (Bruce) Hitz, Judy (Gerald) Neis, Melissa Waldrup and Jennifer Allmaras and numerous nieces and nephews.

Louis was preceded in death by his father, Jerome; mother, Phyllis; sister, Catherine and brother, Michael.
