Fifth/sixth grade football finishes undefeated; third/fourth goes 5-1

The fifth and sixth grade Carrington Youth Football team completed a very-successful season by winning the league championship over Harvey, outscoring their opponents, 296-18, to finish 9-0 for the season.

Results from the season were as follows: Cooperstown, 36-0; New Rockford, 52-0; Ellendale, 34-0; Rugby, 34-6; Harvey, 22-0; New Rockford, 44-12 (semifinals); Harvey, 12-0 (championship); Jamestown Grey, 42-0; Jamestown Blue, 20-0.

The third and fourth grade team also had a terrific season, finishing second place in the league and losing their only game to Rugby in the championship game. They finished 5-1 on the season, and outscored their opponents, 128-48.

Results from the season were as follows: Cooperstown, 26-0; New Rockford, 24-6; Rugby, 24-14; Harvey, 20-0; Cooperstown, 14-6 (semifinals); Rugby, 20-22 (championship).
