Holiday With Our Heroes Wed., Dec. 6

The 3rd Annual Holiday with our Heroes shopping event is set for Wednesday, Dec. 6. Coordinated by Carrington Police Chief Chris Bittmann, local kids in need will have the opportunity to both shop for gifts at local businesses and interact with police officers and first responders who serve our community.

Bittmann said all will gather at the Carrington Youth Center at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. They’ll partner up with a local hero and then head to the Pizza Ranch for supper. Afterwards, all will shop for gifts at Runnings and Dollar General for about an hour, then go back to Carrington Youth Center to wrap.

Volunteers are needed at Carrington Youth Center to help the youth wrap gifts around 7 p.m. Donations of all sizes are welcome and appreciated in advance, as this program would not be possible without financial support from the community. Donations can be taken to Carrington City Hall or mailed to 103 10th Ave N, Carrington, N.D. 58421 on or before Dec. 6.
