The Griggs/Midkota Titans suffered their third and fourth losses this season by four points or less, taking a 40-36 road defeat to Larimore and 45-42 setback against Richland at Cooperstown in back-to-back games played January 11-12.
Last Tuesday, Griggs/Midkota got a hard dose of adversity from the number one team in Class B and District 4 leaders, as the May-Port-CG Patriots dominated the Titans in a 73-19 defeat.
Statistics and quarter-by-quarter scores from the three games were not available at press time.
G-M's loss to the Patriots was their seventh defeat in an eight-game span, and they are now 5-9 for the year.
Next up for the Titans is a Tuesday, January 23 district matchup in Glenfield against Hatton-Northwood, and the venue for their intra-divisional game Thursday at Hillsboro/Central Valley has yet to be determined, per the NDHSAA web site at ndhsaanow.com.
