Senior Kyle Johnson had a big game with 20 points, and the Griggs/Midkota Titans got another District 4 win over Benson County, 65-42, in action from Glenfield last Tuesday night, February 13.
The Titans got back to even in the win-loss column at 9-9 overall and 2-3 in the district, while the Wildcats fell to 6-11 and 3-4.
In getting the victory, Johnson had plenty of support from teammates Latrell Rainey (13 points) and James Woodstead (11).
Benson County's Macyn Olson had 14 points, while Holdyn Jacobson chipped in 11 for the 'Cats.
G-M concluded regular season action on February 16 against the Mustangs from Midway/Minto, playing at Midway High School.
The District 4 Boys Basketball Tournament begins at Larimore High School Thursday, February 22. Region qualifiers and district title participants advance to the Region 2 Tournament at the Devils Lake Sports Center March 4-7.
