Wells County receives grant

The Garrison Diversion Conservancy District’s (Garrison Diversion) Recreation Committee awarded matching recreation grants to 23 projects, totaling $657,865.

“Our requests for the spring funding session were at an all-time high, and we were able to provide grant funds to a large number of deserving projects both big and small,” says committee chairman Larry Kassian. “Garrison Diversion is thrilled to give back to our member counties and help build recreation projects that will reach thousands of people across North Dakota.”

Included in the grants was $9,372 to Wells County for the addition of a comfort station at the Manfred Park.
