Singspiration celebrates 100th night on May 26

Bowdon Community Church of God will be celebrating the 100th Singspiration night on May 26 at 7 P.M.

What began as a simple musical get together for young and old to sing hymns and play specials on instruments in worship and praise has grown into a fun monthly event including participants of all ages from several communities. Ages have ranged from preschoolers to senior citizens.

Over 150 different individual participants and several group singers have shared in the nine years that they have been meeting. Specials have included a wide range of instruments: from harmonica to bass, clarinet to violin, trumpet to piano, guitar, accordion, parts in acappella, etc., and even whistling!

Each last Sunday of the month, a unique group gathers to enjoy musical specials, food and fellowship afterwards. It is never the same twice!

This non-denominational event is not about perfection, professionalism or talent-showing, but true worship from the heart. Everyone is welcome.
