During National EMS Week, May 19-25, 2024, the CHI Carrington Ambulance Service presented four Carrington daycares with Dechokers, or airway clearing devices which can be used to remove obstructions to the airway of a child who is choking. The service also provided training to the providers on proper usage in the case of an emergency, which could help save a young life.
