Various attendees chose to go on the organic/sustainable agriculture tour where they looked at different research projects and learned about equipment, weed control and harvest techniques for organic row crop production.

The 65th Annual Field Day at the NDSU Carrington Research Extension Center (CREC) campus was held on July 16. Their mission is to conduct research that will lead to the enhancement of agriculture and improve the quality of life across the central region of North Dakota.
Attendees had the opportunity to go on one of four tours in the morning and a specialty crops tour in the afternoon. The four morning tours included agronomy research review, livestock production review, organic/sustainable agriculture and Northern Hardy fruit project review.
