Victoree Tresenriter, age 82, passed away on Monday, July 15, 2024, at her home in Cathay, N.D.
Victoree's visitation was Friday, July 19, 2024, from 9:00-10:00 a.m., at Evans Funeral Home, Carrington. with a graveside service at 11:00 a.m., at Lakeview Cemetery in Cathay, with Rev. Rick Loewen officiating. Recorded music was "Amazing Grace" by Alan Jackson.
Pallbearers were family and close friends.
Victoree Marie Comer was born on June 23, 1942, to Don and Marie (Miller) Comer in White Salmon, Washington.
Vicki was united in marriage to Millard on November 7, 1958, in White Salmon, Wash. Vicki and Millard were blessed with five children.
Vicki spent many years working as a Certified Nurse's Assistant while living in Washington. She continued her care for others as a homemaker caring for her children. She and Millard moved to Cathay, North Dakota in 1998 and continued living until their passing.
Victoree had many interests throughout her life. She was a very accomplished painter and enjoyed bird watching and playing pinochle. In her younger years, she spent many hours in her garden caring for her vegetables and then later canning them. Her green thumb continued from the garden to her flower beds throughout the yard. She loved all types of flowers and all the different colors of flowers.
She was especially proud of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They made many smiles and great memories for Vicki. She also loved her fur babies, her cats.
She is survived by her three sons, Randy (Janet) of Tenino, Wash., Bill (Tammy) of Cathay and Michael of Bismarck, N.D.; a daughter, Malissa of New Rockford; ten grandchildren, Randy, Ronnie, David (Haley), Mathew, Dakota, Donna (Mike), Shelby, Sarah, Andrew and Tiffany; great-grandchildren, Breann, Kendall, Kellan Hollyn Rose and Cooper; a brother, Lynn (Nancy) Comer and niece and nephew Sherlyn and Phillip.
Vicki is preceded in death by her husband Millard; her parents Don and Marie; a son Brian; three grandchildren, Michael, Taylee and Tylee and a brother, Thomas Comer.
