Donna Weber
Donna Weber, age 91, New Rockford, N.D., went home into the arms of Jesus, on Sunday morning, July 28, 2024, at Jamestown Regional Medical Center, Jamestown, N.D.
Donna's graveside service was held Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., at Nystrom Cemetery, rural Sheyenne, N.D., with Pastor Joe Griener officiating. Special music was by Delaine Rademacher. Following the graveside service, a Celebration of Life was held at Evangelical Free Church, New Rockford, N.D., at 3:00 p.m.
Pallbearers were Curt Meehan, Dustin Weber, Devin Weber, Aaron Weber, Dalton Weber, Braxton Meehan and Brayton Meehan.
Donna Mae Klein was born May 3, 1933, in Foster County. Donna was adopted by her grandparents, Wilhelm and Louisa Klein. At the age of 12, she went to live with Andrew and Sophie Klein. She graduated from Carrington High School in 1951.
After graduation, she worked at the North American Creamery in Carrington.
On July 26, 1953, Donna was united in marriage to the love of her life Dwayne Weber at Calvary Baptist Church in Carrington. She taught at a one-room school for three years after she and Dwayne married. Donna was blessed with five children, Denelle, Denette, Dennis, Darin, and Delaine. She was a happy farm wife who loved her family and most of the time the farm in rural Sheyenne.
Donna was active in homemakers. She was the secretary of Eddy County Farm Bureau for many years. She taught Sunday School and was a treasurer for many years at church.
She decorated wedding cakes, and was an EMT on the New Rockford Ambulance service.
Donna loved to quilt and made a quilt for each family member including her grandchildren, even wearing out a sewing machine. She also knitted many sweaters, and crocheted and embroidered many projects. She was an avid reader.
Donna is survived by her four children, Denette (Craig) Meehan, of New Rockford, Dennis (Annie) Weber and Darin (Sis) Weber, both of Sheyenne and Delaine (Jamie) Rademacher of New Rockford; eleven grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; four brothers, Ronald Kuehn, James Behrens, Kermit Behrens and Aaron Behrens; three sisters, Betty Jenkins, Phyllis Hajart, Arlys Hull and one foster sister, Gladys Zink.
Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Dwayne; a daughter, Denelle and two great-granddaughters, Gracie and Britton.
In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to the Evangelical Free Church building fund or Nystrom Cemetery.
