Hansen shoots 92 in first meet for Cards

This season, the Carrington girls golf program will be represented in full by a “sister act.” Molly Hansen, along with younger sister, Cally, are the Cards’ golfers for fall 2024.

The elder Hansen got her season going at the Casselton tournament on Friday, August 9, shooting scores of 48 on the front nine and 44 on the back for 92 strokes and a tie for seventh place. Oak Grove’s Josie Brantner won the meet, shooting 79.

Today (August 19), both sisters are expected to be in action at CrossRoads for the first Region 2 individual qualifier. Any golfer scoring at or below 15 over par earns a berth to the State ‘B’ tourney.
