Gayle Kohles, age 74, of Carrington, N.D., died on Sunday, August 18, 2024, at Golden Acres Manor, Carrington, N.D.
Gayle's visitation was Friday, August 23, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. followed by funeral service at 2:00 p.m. all at Evans Funeral Home, Carrington, with Rev. Rick Loewen officiating. Recorded music was "In The Garden" by Alan Jackson, "I Will Remember You" by Sarah McLachlan and "Angels Among Us" by Alabama. Her burial was at the Barlow Cemetery, Barlow, N.D.
Pallbearers were Morgan Peterson, Aidan Dailey, and Brendan Dailey.
Gayle Rae Anderson was born on May 28, 1950, in Jamestown, N.D., the daughter of Robert Anderson and Betty (McCleery) Anderson. As a child, she loved spending time with her cousins at her grandma and grandpa's house on Sundays. After graduating from high school, she went on to obtain an Associate's Degree in Rapid City, S.D. She enjoyed helping people and held several positions throughout the years where she was able to help many. She had a love for traveling and flying and found the perfect fit working at the Norfolk Regional Airport in Nebraska before retirement.
Her hobbies included traveling, fishing, horseback riding, and painting. She was always up for an adventure and enjoyed playing jokes on her family and friends.
Gayle will be greatly missed by her daughter, Stacie (Peterson) Bentz of Mandan, N.D.; grandchildren, Morgan Peterson of Bismarck, N.D., Aidan and Brendan Dailey both of Mandan, N.D.; her aunts, Patricia McCleery and Dora Montgomery both of Carrington, N.D.; her best friend, Mary Buhl of Mitchell, S.D., and many great friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Betty Anderson.
